GCC Foreign Ministers meet in Riyadh

The Foreign Minister of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states held a preparatory meeting in Riyadh yesterday to discuss the agenda of the 32nd session of the GCC Supreme Council. The gathering was chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and included the participation of UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan; Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al-Thani; Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa; Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah; Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah; and Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi.

The foreign ministers will select topics related to GCC joint cooperation to be submitted for consideration during the upcoming meeting of GCC leaders. Earlier, GCC finance ministers deliberated over the economic issues to be included on the agenda of the Supreme Council meeting.
