December 3, 2010
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz underwent successful back surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital earlier today to fix a number of vertebrae. According to a statement released by the Royal Court, the operation was a follow up to the procedure the King underwent on November 24, during which a slipped disc was adjusted and a blood clot removed. The next step for King Abdullah is to begin physical therapy, the statement added.
