Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets with Pakistani PM

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal met with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today. During the meeting, bilateral relations and international issues of common interest were discussed, as well as topics on the agenda of the General Assembly. The meeting was attended by Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the UN Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Mo’allemi and a number of other officials.
Over the past couple of days, Prince Saud has met with a number of foreign dignitaries, including Lebanese President Michael Suleiman; Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi; Afghan Foreign Minister Dr. Zalmai Rassoul; German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle; Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi; Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tadros Adhanom; and Greek Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos.
Prince Saud also attended the 6th Friends of Yemen meeting, as well as a meeting of the Friends of Syria.
