Prince Saud meets with foreign officials at opening of UN General Assembly

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal attended a coordination meeting of Arab League Foreign Ministers in New York today. During the meeting, the ministers discussed their positions on topics of interest to the Arab world on the agenda of the 68th United Nations General Assembly.

Yesterday, Prince Saud participated in a coordination meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states at the headquarters of the GCC mission in New York. He also held separate meetings with a number of foreign officials, including Somali President Hasan Sheikh Mahmoud; U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry; British Foreign Secretary William Hague; Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Dawood Oglu; Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari; New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully; and Guinean Foreign Minister Louceny Fall.
