Ministerial Council of Arab Foreign Ministers starts session

The Ministerial Council of Arab Foreign Ministers began its 134th session today in Cairo. The delegation of the Kingdom was headed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani. During the meeting, the participants dealt with various issues of common Arab concern, particularly preparations for the 2nd Arab Economic, Social and Development Summit due to be held in Egypt on January 19, 2011.
Earlier in the day, the Arab Ministerial Committee on the Sudan and the Arab Ministerial Committee for Following Up the Situation in Somalia held meetings in advance of the larger summit.
