Saudi medical team arrives in Islamabad

A Saudi medical team arrived in Islamabad yesterday to operate a field hospital built in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to assist Pakistani flood victims. Upon landing, the team was received by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz Al-Ghadeer; Director General of the Emergency and Field Medicine Committee in the Ministry of Health Tariq Al-Arnus; and a number of military officials from the Saudi Armed Forces’ Medical Service. The Ambassador noted that the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad and the Consulate General in Karachi are working around the clock to provide assistance to those in need.
