King Abdullah holds talks with emir of Qatar

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani at the royal palace in Jeddah today. Sheikh Hamad is in the Kingdom for a one-day official visit.

The two leaders discussed regional and international issues as well as ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in all areas.

Attendees at the meeting included Chairman of the Allegiance Commission Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Chief of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, and the Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Ahmed Al-Qahtani.

King Abdullah also hosted a luncheon in honor of his royal guest.
