Saudi Ambassador hands over assistance to Mexico

Saudi Ambassador to Mexico Munir Ibrahim Punjabi handed over in Mexico City yesterday U.S. $2 million worth of agricultural machinery and equipment to alleviate the effects of catastrophic floods that swept the Mexican state of Tabasco.

In a speech during the handover ceremony, the Saudi Ambassador said that the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz directives to provide assistance to the devastated areas is in line with the firm principles of the Kingdom’s policy of lending a helping hand to those in need. Tabasco Governor Andrés Rafael Granier Melo expressed his deep appreciation for the Kingdom's humanitarian initiative, which he said represents the most sincere solidarity with the people of Tabasco.
