Medical team arrives in Pakistan to aid food victims

Eight Saudi cargo planes carrying members of a Saudi medical team and equipment for one of two Saudi field hospitals arrived in Islamabad today.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued an urgent directive August 22 for the dispatch of two field hospitals to Pakistan to provide medical services to people affected by torrential rains and flooding.  Saudi medical teams began arriving in Pakistan August 26.
