August 20, 2013

In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to send three fully staffed and equipped mobile field hospitals in support of the Egyptian people, the eighth Royal Saudi Air Force plane carrying medical supplies arrived in Cairo today.  The consignment was received by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Kattan and Military Attaché Maj. Gen. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Agla.

Today's shipment is part of the 47 cargo planes scheduled to arrive in Cairo in support of the field hospitals.  The first field hospital is expected to be ready by next week, Ambassador Kattan said.
