Saudi humanitarian airlift to Pakistan continues

Following the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia has continued airlifting relief materials to flood-stricken regions of Pakistan. On Sunday, the 15th and 16th planes arrived at Grand Multan Airport in the southern Punjab State carrying blankets, tents, medical supplies and foodstuffs. On Monday the 17th and 18th Saudi planes landed at Grand Multan Airport and Lahore Airport, respectively. Pakistani officials received the consignments, thanking the Kingdom for the aid. The Saudi Embassy in Islamabad is supervising all operations supporting the continued Saudi relief airlift and the process of distribution and delivery of assistance to those in need.
