Tabuk University medical students receive training in U.S.

More than fifteen students from the University of Tabuk’s Faculty of Medicine are taking part in a Summer Training Program at Ochsner Health System hospitals and centers in the United States. According to the Dean of the Tabuk Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Tawfiq Ghabra, the training program is part of a cooperation agreement signed between the two institutions and will run from July to August. In addition, a group of Tabuk students are participating in a course being held at King Saud University’s Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with Kaplan Medical, to prepare them to take the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and to apply to U.S. post-graduate fellowship medical programs.
