Saudi Campaign provides food, shelters for Syrian refugees in Jordan
July 28, 2013
The Saudi Campaign to Support the Brothers in Syria delivered 1,000 new caravans, worth SR 9 million [$2.4 million], to Syrian refugees in Jordan. The Campaign has now provided a total of 3,500 caravans to the displaced Syrians. The Kingdom’s initiative to replace tents with sturdier caravans aims to help the residents of refugee camps withstand harsh environmental conditions.
Meanwhile, the Campaign completed the second phase of its distribution of 4,500 Ramadan baskets to Syrian families in the Ramtha and Madaba governates.
