Prince Nayef approves Civil Defense Plan for Ramadan

Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who also serves as President of the Civil Defense Council, has approved a plan of civil defense for the Holy Month of Ramadan. This announcement came during a meeting in Makkah yesterday chaired by Director General of Civil Defense Lt. Gen. Saad bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri in the presence of all the civil defense commanders. According to Al-Tuwaijri, implementation of the plan will begin today and will be supported by 9,600 officers and privates, 1,440 vehicles and technical machines, five seasonal units serving roads leading to Makkah, and five aircraft.
