July 6, 2010
In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia has extended financial aid to Cote D’Ivoire in order to help rebuild the country’s parliament building, which was damaged in a fire. Shoura Speaker Dr. Abdullah Al-Asheikh handed over a check to an Ivorian parliamentary delegation, led by the head of the Ivorian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Frigbo Basil, in Riyadh last Saturday. The two sides also discussed bilateral relations, especially in regard to parliamentary relations.
