Kingdom successfully launched 13th Satellite

King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) announced today the successful launch of the 13th Saudi industrial satellite (SaudiSat 4).   The launch successfully performed by RS-20 rocket (Dnepr Launch Vehicle) from Yasny Launch Base, Orenburg Region, Russia, yesterday evening.  KACST President Dr. Mohammed Al-Suwaiyel, said in a statement today that the launch of SaudiSat-4 is of a particular importance, adding that the satellite is intended to conduct a scientific experiment using ultraviolet radiation in space, which was developed by a joint team from KACST and Stanford University.
