Cabinet welcomes international response to Jeddah oil summit

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today.

The Cabinet welcomed the positive international reaction to its call last week for an oil summit, which is scheduled to be held in Jeddah June 22. It reiterated the Kingdom’s support for global market stability as well as cooperation between producers and consumers.

On international issues, King Abdullah briefed the Cabinet on his recent contacts and consultations with world leaders and their envoys, including his meetings with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
