King orders transportation of Iraqi conjoined twins to Saudi hospital

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has ordered that a pair of Iraqi conjoined twins and their parents be transported from Najaf to Riyadh, where the children will undergo necessary medical tests at the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard. Doctors will examine the twins, named Zainab and Ruqayah, to assess the possibility of conducting a surgery to separate them. The King’s order was announced today by Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, who leads the surgical team responsible for separating conjoined twins.
