Fifth and sixth Saudi relief planes arrive in Pakistan

A fifth and a sixth Saudi relief plane arrived in Islamabad today, carrying 400 and 600 tons of aid, respectively, for Pakistani refugees. The cargoes consisted of foodstuffs, tents, blankets, mattresses and other critical supplies. The deliveries are part of an ongoing Saudi airlift aimed at assisting Pakistanis recently displaced by fighting in the Sway Valley region. More aid is expected to follow shortly.
