Finance Minister attends G-20 meeting in South Korea

Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf led the Saudi delegation to the Group of 20 (G-20) Economic Summit, which began in Pusan, South Korea today. The two-day meeting is being attended by G-20 Ministers of Finance and Central Bank Governors, in addition to officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The aim of the summit is to assess the status of the global economy and to reach agreement regarding financial system reform. The Kingdom’s delegation also includes Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Governor Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Jasser and a number of senior Finance Ministry and SAMA officials.
