Seminar tackles rise of multiple sclerosis in Saudi Arabia

King Abdulaziz Medical City on Thursday organized a seminar in connection with the third Multiple Sclerosis Day in which as many as 300 local neurologists attended. Saudi Gazette reported today. The seminar focused on recent studies and treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), which is spreading in the Arab countries including the Kingdom. Dr. Hussein Al-Gahtani, a consultant neurologist and professor at King Khalid National Guard Hospital in Jeddah estimated that about 100 people have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in Jeddah alone.
