Saudi Military Attaché Office in Washington holds health care conference

The Saudi Military Attaché Office in Washington last night held a health care conference entitled “Saudi-U.S. Bridges for Health Care” with the participation of doctors and health care experts from the Kingdom and the United States. Addressing the gathering, Saudi Military Attaché Brig. Gen. Amin Shaker stressed the importance of the conference’s objectives in enhancing bilateral relations and exchanging experiences in the field of medical services.

For his part, Assistant Director General of Medical Services of the Saudi Armed Forces for Scientific Research, Education and Training Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Zamel highlighted the advanced levels of medical services provided by military hospitals and health care centers throughout the Saudi Arabia. He pointed to the programs of scholarship, training and exchange of expertise in the medical fields between the Kingdom and the United States as a driving factor behind this fact.
