Upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to provide relief assistance to the Palestinian people, a campaign has been initiated to dispatch 2,000 tons of flour worth SR 7.5 million [$2 million] to the Gaza Strip. A relief caravan, carrying 750 tons of fine flour, departed Jeddah on Tuesday night and is scheduled to cross into Jordan through Halat Ammar today, officials said.
