IDB finances power station project in Morocco

The Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has agreed to provide $197 million in financing for the Al-Quneitrah Power Station Project in Morocco. The construction is scheduled to be completed in two years. As of February 2009, the IDB had lent Morocco $3.5 billion for development projects and foreign trade transactions.
