Medical City in Sana’a built with $200 million in Saudi funds

Yemeni authorities are naming a massive new medical facility in Sana’a after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. According to reports published in Riyadh today, the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City will boast a hospital with a 1,000-bed capacity. The total cost of the project is $230 million, $200 million of which was donated by the Kingdom at the Yemeni Donors’ Conference held recently in Riyadh.
