Saudi cardiac medical team in Yemen to conduct surgeries

An 18-member medical team is currently in Yemen conducting a series of open-heart surgeries and other cardiac procedures at the Heart Center at Al-Thawra General Hospital in Sana’a.  The medical team is headed by Dr. Amar Bukhari, a Cardiac Surgeon.  During the week-long visit, the team will conduct more than 50 different surgeries in areas of open-heart operations and cardiac catheterizations, Dr Ahmed Al-Ansi, director general of the Al-Thawra hospital said in a statement today.
