Pilgrims begin arriving in Madinah

After completing the Hajj rituals in Makkah last week, pilgrims have begun arriving in Madinah to visit the Prophet’s Mosque.


The Secretariat of the Hajj Committee in Madinah announced that as of Saturday, 53,791 pilgrims had arrived in Madinah, a decrease of 19% from last year.

A total of 1,092 pilgrims had departed from Madinah, while the number remaining amounted to 52,693 pilgrims – 16% fewer than last year.

Governmental and private organizations in Madinah are proceeding with post-Hajj season operations, providing services for pilgrims around the clock.
