Saudi Arabia Celebrates 82nd National Day

[Washington, DC] – Today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its 82nd (according to the Hijra calendar) anniversary of the foundation of the Saudi state by King Abdulaziz Al-Saud in 1932.

“Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia continues to witness rapid transformation and economic growth,” said Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir. “Today the people of Saudi Arabia are celebrating the achievements of their past while looking forward to their future.”

National Day is celebrated by Saudi embassies and missions throughout the world.
