Major military operations over on southern border

Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, inspected troops stationed along the southern border with Yemen yesterday. During the visit, he announced the end of major operations, explaining at a press conference that Saudi forces had defeated the terrorists trying to infiltrate the Kingdom. Prince Khalid reported that Saudi casualties include 73 dead, 470 injured and 26 missing. All but 60 of the injured have since recovered, he added.
