Crown Prince Salman receives delegation of U.S. Congress

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz received a U.S. Congressional delegation, headed by the Chairman of the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Michigan), in Riyadh today. During the meeting, the Crown Prince stressed the depth of U.S.-Saudi relations, reiterating the Kingdom’s desire to strengthen those ties in order to achieve mutual benefits. He commended the two countries’ cooperation, as evidenced by high level exchanges, strategic partnerships, bilateral agreements, and similar foreign policy positions.
The meeting was attended by Supervisor of the Crown Prince’s Office Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Director General of the Minister of Defense’s Office Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan; and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom James B. Smith.
