Prince Badr steps down, Prince Mit'eb appointed new commander of the National Guard

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz today issued a royal decree relieving Prince Badr bin Abdulaziz, upon his own request for health reasons, from his post as Deputy Commander of the National Guard, and appointed Prince Mit'eb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud as Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Commander of the National Guard.
