King Abdullah congratulates President Barack Obama

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to President Barack Obama on his re-election as President of the United States. The message stated, “On the occasion of your election as President of the United States for a second term, I express to you our congratulations and best wishes in my name and on behalf of the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing you constant good health and happiness, and the people of the United States of America more progress and prosperity. We praise on this occasion the strength of the close historical relations between our two friendly countries, which we have been keen on their development in all fields, expressing our greetings and appreciation of Your Excellency.”

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a similar cable of congratulations to President Obama.
