King Abdullah receives U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and an accompanying delegation at his palace in Riyadh today. At the outset, Secretary Kerry conveyed the greetings of U.S. President Barack Obama, which were reciprocated by the Saudi monarch. Then, discussions were held touching on a number of topics, including bilateral cooperation, the Palestinian issue and the conflict in Syria.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz; Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; Minister of the National Guard Prince Meteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz; Vice Foreign Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Chief of the Crown Prince’s Court Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir; and U.S. Charge d’Affaires in Riyadh Timothy Lenderking.
