Egyptian President receives Vice Foreign Minister

Egyptian Interim President Adly Mansour received visiting Saudi Vice Foreign Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in Cairo today. During their meeting, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to both the Egyptian president and the Egyptian people, wishing them lasting stability, security and prosperity. Prince Abdulaziz confirmed that it is the Kingdom’s policy to support Egypt during this critical stage, saying that standing by its fellow Arab nation is a religious and national duty.

President Mansour welcomed the King’s decisive stance, stressing that Egypt will not forget Saudi Arabia’s support.

Afterwards, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest. The reception was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Kattan and a number of other officials.
