King Abdullah receives telephone call from U.S. President, other world leaders

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a telephone call today from U.S. President Barack Obama, congratulating him on the advent of Eid Al-Adha. The monarch thanked him for his good feelings, and then the two leaders reviewed U.S.-Saudi relations and developments in the international arena.
King Abdullah has received a number of telephone calls and cables from world leaders congratulating him on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and addressing bilateral relations. Today, he spoke with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Yesterday, he received calls from Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi; Jordan’s King Abdullah II; Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa; Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi; Sudanese President Omar Hasan Al-Basheer; and Moroccan King Mohammed VI.
