Saudi Arabia sends 71 tons of humanitarian aid to Chad

In line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, a Saudi Arabian Airlines cargo plane carried 71 tons of humanitarian aid and food to Chad yesterday for victims of heavy rains and flooding. In a statement, Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Yahiya, head of the delegation in charge of making the delivery, said that the relief supplies included 450 tents, 500 mats, 2,000 quilts and 1,600 boxes of food. “Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Humanity, is eager to help the people of Chad and alleviate their sufferings,” Al-Yahiya emphasized.
