The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Campaign for the Relief of the People of Pakistan raised SR77 million [$20.5 million] for flood-stricken Pakistan on the first day.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has donated SR20 million [$5.33 million] to the campaign, which was launched yesterday evening. Additionally, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz has donated SR10 million [$2.67 million] and Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz has donated SR5 million [$1.33 million]. The money will go towards aiding victims of flooding. The campaign, ordered by King Abdullah, commenced Monday night.
