150 tons of Saudi dates delivered to Pakistan

The Saudi Embassy in Islamabad handed over 150 tons of dates today to the Pakistani government to be distributed to those affected by massive flooding. The delivery ceremony was attended by a representative of the Saudi Embassy, Saleh Al-Mughairy; a representative of the Ministry of Finance, Mohammed bin Saad Al-Hagbani; and the Director General of Emergency Relief in Pakistan, Abdulhameed Bulghari. The dates were delivered as part of a larger humanitarian effort to assist Pakistan, undertaken by the Kingdom by order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
