Saudi, Arab relief convoys arrive in Rafah

Five relief convoys dispatched by Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries arrived in Rafah today carrying assistance for the Palestinian people. Attempts are currently underway to send the materials into the besieged Gaza Strip for distribution. Chief of the Egyptian Red Cross Jaber Al-Arabi said in a press statement that the five caravans included twenty-nine trailers laden with drugs, medical appliances, foodstuffs and other relief items. The aid was sent by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco.
