King Abdullah approves program for privatizing SWCC

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved an executive program for privatizing the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC).
The King also approved a program for privatizing sewage treatment plants.
Minister of Water and Electricity Abdullah Al-Hussein announced the King’s decision in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency. He said that the move is expected to attract investment in the water and electricity sectors.
