Crown Prince Salman meets with Turkish President in Ankara

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz held a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Ankara today with Turkish President Abdullah Gul. At the outset, President Gul welcomed the Saudi Crown Prince and praised the depth of relations between their two countries. Then, the two sides reviewed Saudi-Turkish cooperation and discussed the latest regional and international developments. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Chief of the Crown Prince’s Court Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdaq; and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

Following the meeting, Crown Prince Salman and President Gul attended a signing ceremony for an agreement on defense industrial cooperation, and then the Turkish leader hosted a luncheon in honor of the Saudi delegation.

Later, Crown Prince Salman met separately at his guest residence in Ankara with Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
