SFD funds $232 million in developmental projects in Jordan

The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has signed three memorandums with Jordan to finance three development projects worth $232 million. In a press statement, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh said that the projects involve roads, pumping stations, and sewage networks. The funding is part of the $1.25 billion grant given by the Kingdom to Jordan to make improvements in the fields of education, health, transportation, water networks, sanitation, and other infrastructure critical to economic development. The agreements were signed SFD Deputy Chairman Yousuf bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Jaffar Hassan.
