King Abdullah honored by the Arab Red Crescent and Cross Societies

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz was honored today by the Arab Organization of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies.
The organization’s secretary-general, Abdullah Al-Hazza, presented King Abdullah with the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Medallion, First Class, in recognition of his humanitarian works.
After accepting the honor, King Abdullah said that it is the duty of every Muslim and member of humanity to engage in humanitarian efforts.
During the audience, Al-Hazza noted that Saudi Arabia has provided land and $2.7 million in funding for the construction of a new Arab Organization of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies headquarters in Riyadh.
