Three security men killed by unknown assailants on Saudi-Yemeni border

A Security Spokesman of the Interior Ministry has reported that at 2 o’clock this morning, members of the Border Patrol at Humr Center in Al-Dair Sector in Jazan came under heavy fire from unknown assailants located across the Yemeni border. During the ensuing firefight, Private First Class Mohammed bin Ali Hadi Khobrani was killed and Private Mohammed bin Abdu Mohammed Al-Athiqi was injured.

Similarly, the Security Spokesman reported that at 7 o’clock last Wednesday morning, the Border Patrol at Al-Rubuah Center in Dahran Al-Janboub Sector in Asir was attacked by assailants firing from inside Yemen. Maj. Sgt. Abdulrazzaq Abdullah Mash-hour Al-Ghamdi and Mohammed Ahmed bin Salman Al-Qahtani were killed during the resulting firefight.

The Spokesman characterized the fallen soldiers as martyrs and stressed that the security authorities will investigate the vicious attacks in coordination with Yemeni officials.
