Saudi relief fund supports construction of eight Palestinian women’s centers

Second Deputy Premier Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for Relief of the Palestinian People in Gaza, has received a letter of thanks from Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) Mo’ez Duraid.
The U.N. official cited the Campaign’s support for women’s projects in the Palestinian territories, including its assistance in building, equipping and activating eight women’s centers. The construction of the eight centers will come at a cost of SR 4.77 million [US $1.28 million].
Thus far, the Campaign has contributed SR 154.1 million [US $41.2 million] to relief and humanitarian projects in Gaza.
