Saudi Arabia gives $2 million for Darfur peacekeepers

Saudi Arabia has contributed $2 million to support the African Union’s peacekeeping forces in Darfur, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan reported from Cairo yesterday. The payment fulfilled Saudi Arabia’s financial obligation, as outlined in Arab League Resolution No. 7094.
