Foreign Minister meets Egyptian, Jordanian counterparts

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal held a trilateral meeting in Cairo yesterday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit and Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Joudah. In a statement, Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki said that the foreign ministers discussed a number of Arab and regional issues in preparation for the upcoming Arab summit, scheduled to begin Saturday in the Libyan city of Sirte. Prince Saud arrived in Cairo yesterday after meeting earlier in the day with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in Damascus.
