Tenth Saudi relief plane leaves for Tajikistan

The tenth Saudi relief plane left Riyadh today for Tajikistan, carrying 11 tons of medical supplies and other relief materials for people affected by severe cold weather.

The Saudi airlift to Tajikistan begin February 17 on the directives of King Abdullah to provide emergency assistance to aid people affected by severe cold weather there.

Last month, a Saudi airlift consisting of eight planes delivered 80 tons of relief supplies to Tajikistan. The Saudi relief package to Tajikistan also included a $10 million grant.
