King Abdullah, Vice President Cheney hold meeting

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and US Vice President Richard Cheney today held a meeting at the King’s ranch at Al-Janadriyah. 

Cheney arrived at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport earlier in the day.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed prospects of boosting cooperation and dealt with regional issues, including the Palestinian issue and the situation in both Iraq and Lebanon. 

The meeting was attended by Riyadh Governor Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Saudi Ambassador to the US Adel Al-Jubeir and US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ford Fraker.

After the talks, King Abdullah hosted a luncheon in Cheney’s honor and presented his guest with the King Abdulaziz Sash.

The luncheon was attended by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Chief of General Intelligence Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Prince Abdulrahman bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Assistant Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Military Affairs Prince Gen. Mit’eb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir, and US Ambassador Ford Fraker.
