Kingdom donates $1 million to the International Organization for Migration

Saudi Arabia has donated $1 million to support the efforts of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia. This was announced by President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar Al-Aiban during a meeting with IOM Director General William Lacy Swing on the sidelines of the 25th session of the International Human Rights Council. Dr. Al-Aiban characterized the donation as part of the Saudi commitment to support the efforts of the IOM to assist the needy. Director General Swing thanked the Kingdom for its generous assistance, which, he said, will help the organization fulfill its humanitarian role.
